It’s hard to write these without sounding big-headed, but I’ll do my best...

A freelance senior copywriter with 11 years experience working on some of the biggest brands in the world.  Learned the basics at SCA 2.0, winning a D&AD new blood pencil before jet-setting to a placement at Leo Burnett, Turin. 

4 years at Publicis London, working on Nescafe, Morrisons, Tempo and Renault. Then I swapped the big corporate for the small and nimble: Isobel, We Are Social, Nice & Serious, and finally Beano…yes of Dennis and Gnasher.

Currently at Zeno, where I’ve been for the past 3 years, learning new skills in the PR world and becoming a more rounded creative. The emphasis and requirement to “get in the metro” has really sharpened our eye for what journalists want to write about. That, mixed with the traditional ad background, is giving me a fresh perspective.

My work at Zeno has also led to their “best year ever” in terms of awards, so something’s going right. In the last year or so I’ve been given freedom to work on accounts solo, managing clients along the way…gently edging into that ACD territory.
